Answers

It is former Lib Dem leader Charles Kennedy. It's Montserrat, which is known as the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean. Its Irish heritage dates back to the 17th Century, when the island became a haven for Irish Catholics who were persecuted on other Caribbean islands. It's all of the above. The government reduced the list of jobs where there is a skills shortage in the UK by eight occupations. It's Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook co-founder. According to reports, a Chinese company was ordered to stop selling the dolls by Facebook lawyers. The Chinese firm had apparently called figure the 'Poking Inventor' and not Mark Zuckerberg. It had previously been told to stop selling an Apple CEO Steve Jobs action figure. This week it was reported by scientists that adult monkeys recognise photographs of their friends. It's Sweet Sixteen. It comes from Minnesota in the US and has a moderately acidic taste. The clock in Trafalgar Square was officially started at 7.30pm by rowers Pete Reed and Andy Hodge and sailors Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson.
