A man has died and another person has been seriously injured in Londonderry.
Police said their initial inquiries suggest the death and injury happened during an assault in Bayview Terrace early on Sunday morning.
One man has been arrested and police said he is helping them with their inquiries.
Bayview Terrace and Asylum Road have been closed and access to strand road PSNI station is restricted.
