Post-mortem tests revealed Marie Stewart died from multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma The partner of a woman whose body was found in a suitcase at her house has been charged with her murder.
The body of Marie Stewart, 30, was found in the garage at Perseverance Place in Holmfirth on Sunday night.
Andrew Lindo, 28, a music teacher, was arrested after Miss Stewart's body was found with multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
Mr Lindo is due to appear before Huddersfield magistrates on Thursday morning.
Police were contacted by Miss Stewart's relatives after the mother of two had not been seen since Christmas.
A 29-year-old woman was also arrested at the house in connection with the death, but later released without charge.
In a statement, Marie's father Robert said: "Marie was a loving mother who would do anything for her children.
"She had been very caring and special."
